Early Learner

School Readiness Program designed for children aged 2-5

Setting: Preschool Group Cohort with 1:1 staff assigned

Schedule: Daily sessions

Focus: Developing foundational skills including emotional awareness, play, pre-academic skills, self-help, & physical development

Exploring Our Program

Children develop their communication skills, social skills, emotional regulation, and safety awareness through play-based activities

Classroom Setting designed to foster learning & social interaction. Each class accommodates up to 8 children, ensuring personalized attention with a staff-to-child ratio of 1:1
Structured Curriculum mirroring those of typical preschool classrooms. Through structured activities and routines, children develop essential skills in a familiar and nurturing setting
Peer groups are matched based on individual needs & interests. This encourages meaningful interactions & supports each child's developmental journey

Limited or delayed speech & language development
Difficulty following instructions or responding appropriately
Repetitive behaviors & limited imaginative play
Short attention span & difficulty sustaining focus
Challenges with fine motor skills & basic academic concepts

Family outings may be restricted due to the child's needs

Group Social Skills

Social Skills Group is tailored for children Ages 8 & above

Time: After school

Schedule: 2.5 hours, up to 5 days per week

Focus: Targeting challenges including difficulty making friends & managing emotional reactions to everyday occurrences or challenges

Exploring Our Program

Your child will learn how to initiate and maintain conversations, express thoughts and feelings effectively, & understand nonverbal cues such as body language & facial expressions
They'll practice skills like taking turns, sharing, cooperating, & playing with peers appropriately. This includes learning how to join group activities & how to exit social situations
Your child will learn strategies for identifying & managing their emotions, such as deep breathing techniques, using calming tools, & expressing feelings
They'll develop problem-solving strategies to navigate social conflicts, resolve disagreements, & find solutions to social challenges they encounter
Your child will learn to understand others' perspectives, empathize with their feelings, & consider different points of view

Your child may show

Difficulty making or maintaining friendships
May exhibit strong emotional reactions to everyday occurrences
Struggles with cooperative play or inappropriate social behaviors
Trouble understanding social cues
Limited engagement with peers, preference for solitary activities, or avoidance of social situations

A child may self-isolate after school
Avoid family outings where socialization is expected, may impact family time such as "game night" or other family activities

School-Based Support

School-based support program tailored for children requiring behavioral assistance at school despite meeting academic & educational needs

Sessions are conducted directly within the school environment to observe the child in their natural setting

Exploring Our Program

Individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each child. These plans are regularly reviewed & adjusted based on the child's progress & changing needs
Observations allow for targeted strategies to address specific behavioral, social, and emotional needs
Collaboration with school staff facilitates a comprehensive approach to support and intervention
Effective behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors that may arise

Your child may show

Frequent emotional outbursts, difficulty managing frustration or anger, heightened anxiety or fearfulness, trouble coping with transitions or changes in routine
Engaging in repetitive or ritualistic behaviors that interfere with learning or social interactions
Difficulty staying focused on tasks or activities, easily distracted or hyperfocused on specific interests
Challenges with daily living skills impacting independence and participation in classroom activities
Displaying challenging behaviors such as aggression, non-compliance, self-injury, or disruptive behavior

Despite having an educational plan to support their academic needs, children requiring school-based ABA support experience difficulty fully participating in school due to the core symptoms of their needs
Problems at school can disrupt daily routines, leading to stress & fatigue
