Early Learner

Our Early Learner Program is a school readiness model designed for children up to age 6 who need support in developing foundational learning and adaptive skills.

Setting: Small Preschool-Style Cohort (1:1 support)

Schedule: Daily sessions

How It Works

Play-Based Skill Building
- Children develop communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation skills through play-based and structured learning activities.
Preschool-Like Environment
- The classroom is set up to mirror a typical preschool, with routines and activities that promote independence, and growth.
1:1 Support in a Small Group
- Each child receives individualized support in a group setting, encouraging peer interaction while maintaining a 1:1 staff-to-child ratio.
Pre-Academic Learning
- Activities target foundational, learning to learn skills like fine motor coordination, attending to structured activities and participation in group routines to prepare for successful kindergarten transition.
Peer Matching for Social Development
- Children are grouped based on developmental needs and interests to foster meaningful peer interactions.

Social Skills Group

Our Social Skills Group is tailored for children ages 7+ who may need support in building meaningful peer relationships, managing emotions, and improving everyday social interactions.

Time: After school

Schedule: 2.5 hours, up to 5 days per week

How It Works

Targeted Social-Emotional Learning
- Children participate in structured group activities to build communication skills, recognize social cues, and express emotions effectively.
Peer Interaction in a Supportive Environment
- Our setting encourages turn-taking, cooperation, and shared play through guided practice and peer modeling.
Emotion Regulation Strategies
- Children learn tools like deep breathing, calming routines, and expressing emotions in appropriate ways.
Problem-Solving Practice
- We help children develop strategies to resolve peer conflicts and navigate common social challenges.
Perspective-Taking & Empathy
- Through role-play and discussion, children gain insight into how others think and feel—building stronger connections with others.

School-Based Support

Our school-based support program is designed for children who may benefit from behavioral assistance during the school day, even if they are meeting their academic & educational goals.

Services are offered only in select school settings where we have established permission to operate, such as Head Start programs, licensed daycares, and some private schools. Starting services may require coordination with the school and can take some time, depending on their internal processes.

How It Works

On-Site Support
- Sessions are conducted directly within the child’s school environment (when permitted) to observe behavior in real-time and support the child in their natural setting.
Individualized Treatment Plans
- Plans are tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals and are adjusted regularly based on progress and evolving priorities.
Targeted Observations
- Real-time observations allow us to develop and apply strategies for specific behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
Collaborative Approach
- We work in partnership with teachers, aides, and school staff to create a consistent and effective support plan within the classroom setting.
Behavioral Strategies That Work
- We implement proactive and evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive engagement throughout the school day.

Frequent emotional outbursts, difficulty managing frustration or anger
Heightened anxiety or difficulty coping with changes in routine
Repetitive behaviors that interfere with learning or social interactions
Trouble focusing or becoming overly fixated on certain interests
Daily living skill challenges that impact participation and independence
Disruptive behaviors, including aggression, non-compliance, or self-injury
